Streaming Video to the XBOX 360

So a month ago I set about trying to set up my 360 to stream video from my Media Center PC, but it turns out streaming DVDs is not supported. This is not a huge surprise, but it does seem a bit ridiculous. I decided to find the best format for converting the ripped DVDs I had on my PC and discovered all of the programs for converting files take hours! Why would you spend an entire day encoding DVD files to WMV or DIVX just to watch a 2 hour movie you can easily drop into the disc drive so My Conscience says? Well after I spent a few days encoding these files I decided enough was enough and tried something drastic, I renamed the file extension on the ripped movies from .VOB to .AVI. Well guess what, I can now stream ripped DVDs to my 360 with zero encoding and DVD quality over my WiFi. After I discovered I had this new capability I proceeded to rip all my DVDs to the PC so I could watch them whenever I want without dragging my ass off the couch. I still haven't watched any...
